Rock Johnson (Dwayne) Purchases $9.5 Million Farm in Georgia.
The equestrian property consists of a home with eight bedrooms and a caretaker’s hut that dates back 150 years.
The Rock himself, Johnson, has arrived in rural Georgia.
A company affiliated with star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has purchased a 46-acre estate in the suburbs of Atlanta.
Public records show that the equestrian home in the sleepy rural town of Powder Springs, Georgia, was purchased for around $9.5 million by a Georgia-based corporation with ties to Mr Johnson’s business managers in Los Angeles. Johnson, 47, who used to wrestle professionally but is now an actor and producer, was unavailable for comment.
The House That Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Gave Up
The main house on Mr. Johnson’s massive multi-lot estate is 14,000 square feet and has eight bedrooms, so there’s plenty of room for him and his family of five.
According to the listing with broker Jeff DeJohnette of Harry Norman Realtors, the main house was constructed in 2002 and contains the following:
- Stone fireplaces
- A custom wine cellar
- A garden with a freeform, salt-water pool and cabana
Mr. DeJohnette remained silent regarding the transaction.
Images depict an attractive home with a facade partially encased in brick and stone, wide casement windows, and a rustic interior with exposed wood and stone. There is a charming library with stained glass windows and wood paneling as one of the amenities.
The Johnsons also receive a horse farm with a 12-stall barn, riding arena, and observation balcony. The listing states that the original farmhouse on the property dates back 150 years and is now used as a caretaker’s cottage.
The “Fast and the Furious” actor recently married his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, in Hawaii, so this sale is no surprise.
The agreement follows Mr. Johnson and his ex-wife and business partner, Dany Garcia’s, September announcement that they will be hosting the first-ever Atheticon fitness conference in Atlanta in October 2020.
