Actor Sylvester Stallone Loses Money on His Villa Sale in La Quinta, California
 More than a million dollars less than the actor paid for it, the home’s asking price is $3.35 million.
Sylvester Stallone, star of “Rocky,” is selling his home in La Quinta, California, for $3.35 million, or roughly $1.15 million less than what he bought for it a decade ago.
According to the ad by Josh Reef of Douglas Elliman;
Posted Wednesday, the villa’s 4,889 square feet interior space has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The 2008 home features a living room with a stone fireplace and double-height ceilings, a dining room with French doors to a terrace, a kitchen with wood cabinets and a wood-and-stone central island, a breakfast room, and a wine room.Â

The 73-year-old actor Sylvester Stallone, screenwriter, director, and painter Sylvester Stallone, purchased the home through a trust in 2010 for $4.5 million. The initial 2014 listing price was $4.2 million.
Since then, there have been multiple price reductions and broker swaps as the house sat on the market. Listing records reveal that it sold for $3.625 million in 2016 before being pulled off the market.
The Listing Agent, Reef, stated that Mr Stallone and his family used the residence on their holidays in the desert. Mr Stallone’s representative verified that he was the vendor but provided no other information.
Mr Stallone is well known for inventing and starring in the “Rocky” film series.
